How You Create Massive Success

Do you want to know the secret to creating MASSIVE success in your business and in your life?  Here is it….

How we perceive things and what we do with it makes all the difference. The ‘facts’ may be the same but how we “see” the situation can vary greatly from person to person.  And the good thing is that we choose our own perceptions – it IS a CHOICE.

Perception is EVERYTHING.  We see what we WANT to see.  Because of this, our failure or success is dependent upon our mindset.  Yes, other things come into play but it’s our attitude that affects 90% of our results.

To take this a little further, watch this short video.

So, did you see what changed?  Did you see it while you were watching or not until the end?  Either way it doesn’t really matter.  What matters is that you were looking for it and you saw it.

In your business and just life in general, what are YOU looking for?  Do you see what’s NOT working or what IS working?  Do you see the good or the bad, the positive or the negative?  Do you see your struggles as opportunities to improve or a reason to quit?  This is important because you WILL find what you’re looking for.

YOU determine your success.  You can also choose to see that as a positive or a negative but just think how powerful and liberating it is when you see the positive – YOU control your own destiny.   When you embrace that, you unlock the secret to your success!

OR maybe you didn’t see it at all even when it was pointed out to you.

If you’re in network marketing, you will come across a lot of people like this.  They will NOT see it and NEVER will.  They just won’t “get it” no matter what you do.  They are looking for the negative and that’s what they will see.  And YOU can either see THAT as a positive or a negative.  Are you going to waste your energy on those who don’t get it or focus your energy finding and helping those who do?

So, what is your perception?  Do you see your glass as half full or half empty?  And what are the positives of not everyone “getting it” and seeing the power of network marketing?  Why is that a positive thing?   I would love to hear your thoughts so please leave a comment below.  Please also share this post with your twitter and facebook friends.

    Hi Laura
Love your bright blog here. I have been struggling with this exact issue recently, I know I can try and see all that is in my life in a positive light or a negative one, sure is hard to train myself to see the positive but it is exactly, that training. Once I say no way I am not going down that negative path I can move on.

@belinda cunningham, Hi Belinda, I think that’s something we all struggle with and it’s just part of that continuous personal development process. And that’s just it, it’s a choice and that feeling you get when you make that choice to say “No Way…” isn’t it empowering?! Make it a Great Day! Laura

    Hj Laura,
Thanks for a great post. I totally agree, our success or failure depends mostly on our attitude. Keeping a positive attitude is not always the easiest thing to do in network marketing. I focus on my goals and that helps to keep my attitude positive.
    Have a great day,

@MaryKay Edelen, That’s exactly what you need to do -Focus on the bigger picture and the positive. Sometimes you do need to dig a little deeper to find it (the positive) but it’s there. Thanks for the comment, Laura

Hi Laura! Great post! I love how you say, “are you going to waste your energy on people who don’t get it or find people who do.” I have never thought about it that way but there are some people you can talk to until your blue in the face and they will never get it. That is a lot of time and energy wasted if they never will get it. Instead focusing your energy and efforts on people who do would make so much more sense. Thanks for this awesome post!

@Angela, Hi Angela, I’m glad it was useful. Just remember when building your team that we’re in the sorting business not the convincing business. We’re sorting through people to find the leaders, the ones you “get it” and are ready to get to work and make it happen. Much success to you! Laura

    Laura,
Great post on the power of perspective. Our focus is one of the few things that we DO have control over, so it’s very powerful. I work with my clients on this ALL the time. Love the video, it gives it a fresh way of taking in the concept.
    Thanks so much,

@Dr. Adam Sheck, Hi Adam. I agree. I always say, “we can’t control what others do but we CAN control how we respond to it”. I loved your 3 C’s article. Good stuff!! All my best, Laura

Hi Laura, Again and again we hear from those who have walked this road that persistence and disciplining our thoughts toward the positive will carry us through. Delightful to hear your words on this. I did watch the video and I knew the area where it changed, but couldn’t quite get it. Thank you,
