Great info!
Although you mentioned libraries on your list, I’m not sure exactly how you meant that. However, I actually read books from the library. When I return them, I put a “post-it-note” with my info INSIDE the books, stuck anywhere on the pages, or a business or drop card. Whoever goes to check out the book next will see it. If the library staff sees it first, they’ll probably remove it – but then they have seen it. So the message still got out.
I haven’t had anyone get upset with me, because they likely think someone was using it as a bookmark.

Great info Laura! You are always so resourceful when it comes to working online, or offline.

I love the one about leaving your info with your tip at a restaurant. It’s so easy, and convenient.
I know that I have also went into a card store (like Hallmark for example) and when I’m looking for a card for someone (i.e. birthday, wedding anniversary, etc.) I have put business cards in the cards so the next person that opens the card will see my business card…or you can put one in the envelopes of the cards so the business cards won’t fall out.
Great job! I look forward to your next post!LauraPaulson Reply:

Hello Laura
Increased targeted traffic is something all web businesses are interested in because of all the things it represents. Laura this statement,”focusing solely on internet marketing, you are missing out on 50% of the population and you NEVER know where your next “Superstar” may come from.” demonstrates a reason to use offline marketing. It is always about using the simplest resources and methods to derive extraordinary results. Your word of caution, “make sure to use common sense”, is very important. I read a suggestion to place a note on cars saying please call me. Not using common sense I tried the suggestion. One of the cars was a deputy sheriffs wife’s car and her husband called me really upset. Thanks for the list of 25 different places to advertise.
Thanks

@Julie Klein, Hey Julie! You’ve got the idea. I do the same plus stick in a few extra books while I’m there (don’t go overboard of course). I even have bookmark templates (with advertising message) and I use those too and some libraries will also put in with the others (bookmarks) they have available for people to take. Many libraries also have bulletin boards.
Thanks for the comment, Laura
