Attacks targeted against WordPress sites isn’t anything new but has severely escalated the past month that has mostly stemmed from weak or poorly secured plugins.
I know most of us “non-techy” bloggers don’t follow all the news about security issues because it’s extremely technical and difficult to understand so it’s nice to have a resource who will keep us in the loop on what’s happening and what to do about it.
Kim Castleberry at Just-Ask-Kim.com just wrote an informative post on what’s happening right now and what we can to do protect ourselves.
Kim also has a WordPress security course coming out soon that will help you learn how to head off a lot of the trouble sites are facing today. Kim also offers a comprehensive security audit and assistance with security cases if you would like to get your site reviewed by a professional.
