If buying a system and “working it” really worked, just about everyone I know would be rich, me included. You have to have the right mindset and you have to make it yours. You have to add your distinct touch and you must be authentic.
Laura,
Yes, we agree that influence does play a big part in achieving success in business. We also believe that having genuine passion and excitement for what it is you do and the value you provide people is key. True passion is contagious… it draws people in.
Systems may not be the most important aspect of business success, but having great systems in place will definitely give a business a boost up. In comparison… not having systems makes things a whole lot harder.
Thanks,

@Pat and Lorna Shanks, Hi Pat and Lorna, I couldn’t agree more. While having a system should really be a given, it’s not what creates the success. Thanks for the contribution.
Thanks Laura there’s some great information there. I agree partially with Joseph above about being influential but you can actually be a leader by simply thinking of yourself as a leader even before having the results. People follow you because of where your going not what you’ve done in the past.
Michael
@Michael Berry, Hi Michael, I agree that mindset is HUGE. You have to start by seeing yourself as a leader and it’s that mindset that gets you to where you want to go and it is contagious.
Make it a Great Day! Laura
Laura, Great post! I agree having a system is important, but there is more to being successful than just having a great system. I think Rose Mis is spot on by saying we need to have influence, because if you are influential, people will see you as a leader and will join you in business. So I think Influence is the fuel that makes our system run!
Excellent post! Thanks for sharing! Joseph McDevitt
